Clinical outcomes of laparoscopic assisted cystotomy in five cats with repeated urethral obstruction

Feline urethral obstruction is a life-threatening condition that requires immediate treatment to relieve the obstruction. If medical dissolution not indicated, surgical intervention (e.g., open cystotomy, laparoscopic assisted percutaneous cystolithotomy) necessary remove uroliths, and minimally invasive surgery may offer some advantages. This case report describes successful management of using cystotomy postoperative dietary in five cats with reoccurred within 1 week after catheterisation management.
